Senior Mechanical Engineer (work in Troy, MI) - Perform Finite Element Analysis on automotive components and systems for crash/impact, vibration and durability/fatigue performance; obtain data on function and performance of components and systems; analyze data to develop improved or new designs for automotive components and systems; and perform finite element modeling, analysis and optimization using NASTRAN, LS-DYNA3D, HyperMESH, HyperGRAPH, ANSA and Solid-Edge.

Requires Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Management Engineering or its foreign educational equivalent plus 6 months experience in the job offered or 6 months experience in an alternate occupation as a Project Engineer, Project Engineer Trainee, Design Engineer or Design/Site Engineer. Will accept any equally suitable combination of education, training and/or experience which would qualify an applicant to perform the duties of the job offered. EOE.
